Scott Freda

Scott has 20 years experience working in the public affairs arena. Working on business development, lobbying, and financial and political management; Scott has represented law firms, corporations, labor unions and political campaigns. Currently, Scott serves as a business development manager for a variety of different entities. Scott most recently served at the Finance Chairman for the Pennsylvania Democratic Party and Co-Finance Chair for the Democratic National Convention Host Committee.

In the past, Scott served as Finance Director and Deputy Campaign Manager for Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter. He served as Co-State Director and Finance Director of Pennsylvania for Presidential Candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton in 2008. He has also served on the Finance Committee for the Commonwealth’s past two Democratic Governors, Tom Wolf and Ed Rendell. Scott began his career at the Democratic National Committee where he served in several roles including Deputy National Finance Director & Director of the Party’s Major Donor Program.

Prior to expanding SCF Consulting, Scott was Chief Fundraiser and Deputy Campaign Manager for Mayor Michael A. Nutter of Philadelphia. Prior to joining the “Nutter for Mayor” committee, Scott served as Deputy State Director, Chief Fundraiser and political liaison for Hillary Clinton’s successful Presidential primary campaign in Pennsylvania. Scott has also served as Finance Director of Hillary Clinton’s first Senate campaign right after serving two terms as Deputy National Finance Director at the Democratic National Committee; Scott was also Vice President of Progressive Strategies, a DC-based lobbying and political firm. Scott continues to lead the political, legislative and business development outreach for one of the top securities litigation firms in the country; Scott also serves on the Finance Committee for Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and and served on Ed Rendell’s 2006 re-election campaign.
